HI LAKE, to whom am I talking?

This is Markly!

Do any of you have a favourite lake? I think mine has to be Llangorse Lake in Mid-Wales.

My favourite lake would have to be Lake Superior. It's hard to argue with a name like that!

If you are really pining for a lake when you get to Cardiff, I can highly recommend Roath Park Lake. It has a mini lighthouse and many facilities surrounding it, including a kiosk for refreshments. Does it sound nice to you?

Cardiff sounds lovely, provided the refreshments are locally grown.

Do you know anything about Wales? Please explain your answer.

I have a cassette tape of Wales singing their mating songs that puts me right to sleep. But I've never seen one in person.

Do all people in America call gigs, 'shows'? It has taken over here in a MASSIVE way. I blame myspace. I am trying to get people to refer to gigs as 'displays'. Do you reckon it will ever catch on?

People in America, as far as I can tell, use the term "gig" when a guaranteed payment is implied. "Shows" can go either way. But the band consensus is that "display" is indeed a step in the right direction, albeit a bit confusing at first...

How many of you will there be playing on this tour?

On this tour, we have Andrew, Ashley, Eli, John, Lindsay, and myself, which makes one half-dozen.

Do you have a setlist for your tours or do you just play what you feel like playing on the night?

We have been rotating about 16 songs from our three albums so far, but there's always the occasional spur-of-the-moment surprise. Most likely we will play your favorite LAKE songs, and if you're lucky your favorite Seals and Crofts song might turn up as well!

Thank you very much, we look forward to seeing you here!

See you soon, and as always, mind the gap..
